silver prints, that is silver based photo images
can be developed with our proprietary coffee
developer.

Coffee can yield warm black tones or
cold black tones.

The exact warmth of the black tone will depend on the
tone scale of your original, You must specify which tone
you prefer for your original, warm or cold black tone.


-We Create These on Medium Weight watercolor
fiber paper of the highest quality. The paper has
some texture. The exact texture will depend of the
type of paper available in Costa Rica at the time
of production.
This is not a commercial photographic paper, The
paper is made light sensitive by hand with our
proprietary  LUCENTA liquid silver emulsion.
These are real works of Photographic Art.

Water color paper is the best and most permanent
paper available.
paper size will be either 3.5 x 5 or 3.5 x 5.5 inches
depending on the format of your original.

You can not go wrong here, the images are high
resolution continuous tone and much superior in
permanency than any digital print.
the final image is composed of black metallic silver.

have the odor of Coffee, the aroma is washed out during
washing of print.

We Create These on Medium Weight Commercial
silver halide photographic paper.
Resin Coated ( RC) Glossy or semi matt finish.

paper size will be either 3.5 x 5 or 3.5 x 5.5 inches
depending on the format of your original.

the final image is composed of 90% finely divided
coffee pigment and 10% silver halide compound.

You Can not Print on the Back with inkjet inks.

Paperless photo coffee Image is produced Directly on the glazed surface of plate.
these are not stuck on images .

The exact COFFEE TONE given by our coffee colorant
will depend on the  tone scale of your original, They do not
have the odor of Coffee, the aroma is washed out during
washing of print. Image is protected with a varnished overcoat.
Does not come with wood stand. Each Plate has hanger on the back (not shown)  One Text line of your choice at bottom of image.

The Larger the Plate size the higher the price. Plate style may vary according with what we have available in Costa Rica at the time of ordering.

Minimum Order From Same Original: 10 pieces
Add to that: 50.00 set up fee. This fee is only charged once
for the same original. Subsequent orders are priced only for
each piece, for plates 14 cm diameter, as follows:

It is firmly established and documented that Saul Bolaños invented CAFEGRAFIA® more than 20 years ago. No one else has tried to copy this work, it is inimitable.
No one else in the world is doing 100% coffee images in the manner of the artist. Therefore, Any work even if customized will be identified, now and for all time to come as his own, for the reasons mentioned above it is stated below:

" The artist will do CUSTOM COFFEE ART only for those who accept that:

THE FINAL ACCOM0DATION OF TEXT AND IMAGES WILL BE DECIDED BY THE ARTIST ONLY "
(Your wishes and specifications will of course be heard)

You will pay an initial layout fee.
a copy of the layout will be given to you for your approval
before the final edition is made. At this stage your valuable
and honest opinions will be heard. If for any reason you do not
accept the layout, the edition will not be produced and you will not be charged for it. The initial lay out fee is not refundable.

Assuming you agree to the above here are the outlines:

1) we will do custom work for a few entities only
( companies  or persons ) when this quota has been reached, the service will be closed. No exceptions.
It will be closed.

2) we will not mass produce.

3) we prefer to deal with other artists on a person to   person basis and with small businesses or companies.
As an artist you will be given great discounts from the prices above.

4) as for companies: We prefer to deal directly with the president or owner
of the business or company.

5) You will be asked to sign an agreement before
    any custom coffee art above is created for you.
